My name is Manh-Duc Doan. I'm an incoming Master's student in Economics at Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris), starting in Fall 2026. I hold a Bachelor in International Economics at Foreign Trade University, Vietnam in January 2025.
I'm working as research assistant (RA) for Professors Quoc-Anh Do and Kieu-Trang Nguyen since 2024. I also worked as RA at Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN) from July 2024 to June 2026.
My research interests currently span over several applied microeconomic topics, especially in political economy, economic history, development, labor and education, organizational economics and social networks.

June 7, 2026. I'm starting my Master's in Economics at IP Paris this September!
May 12, 2026. We host the Society of Young Vietnamese Economists (SYVE), where we weekly organize reading groups in various important topics, seminars and research groups to learn each other, disseminate academic knowledge, and support young Vietnamese scholars. Join us here.
April 31, 2025. I graduate my Bachelor at Foreign Trade University with High Distinction and am nominated in the President's Honors List for outstanding academic graduating students in the cohort. Yoho!
July 1, 2024. I'm starting working as Research Assistant at Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN).
July 1, 2023. I'll spend this summer to serve as Summer Research Intern at Vietnam Institute for Economic and Policies Research (VEPR).
May 20, 2023. As a participant to the IQC, a quant finance competition organized by the World Quant Vietnam, I was selected to be Contract Research Consultant at World Quant Vietnam.
