My new journey!

I'm immensely proud and excited to share that I will be starting my Master's in Economics at Institut Polytechnique de Paris, a program jointly hosted by École Polytechnique, ENSAE Paris, and HEC Paris!

After a stressful year of applications, I was fortunate to receive offers from several outstanding programs, including the PhD/MSQ Program at GSEFM, the Università di Bologna (with the LMEC Excellence Grant), University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE). However, l'X has been my dream for a long time, ever since I learned about French history and Napoléon Bonaparte as a child.

I am deeply grateful to the professors, mentors, colleagues, friends, and family who have continuously and unconditionally supported me over the past few years. In particular, I want to give huge thanks to Professors Quoc Anh Do and Kieu-Trang Nguyen for giving me the opportunity to work closely with them, and for supporting and accompanying me throughout my application. I would also like to thank Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN), two years as a research assistant, doing fieldwork and desk research, taught me so much, and I met wonderful colleagues and friends there: Quang-Thanh Tran, Tuong-Vy Phan, and Lê Vũ Huy. Last but not least, my family, "ba, mẹ" and of course, my beloved one, Vy. Everything I have today is because of them, and for them.

This marks a very important milestone in my learning journey. I'm eagerly looking forward to learning new things from a world-class faculty and an exceptional cohort. I also can't wait to experience Paris — a city that's always lived in my childhood dreams — to meet new friends, enjoy the food, visit Eiffel and Louvre, and, of course, re-learn my French.
